Before you hop into a rental or Rotax kart, you should know some basics in terms of race craft, so lets get into it!

Rental Karts

When you race a rental kart, you must remember that due to their unreliable and slow nature, you must conserve speed as these karts are very bad at accelerating, but this only applies to this level of racing as when you progress, the vehicles are far more refined. Furthermore, you must have a proper racing line.

Rotax Karts

Rotax karts are far more refined than their rental counterparts, this means that they require a more technical driving style. When you drive a Rotax kart you must remember the phrase “Slow in, fast out”, this is because the fastest way to corner isn’t the racing line which allows you to carry the most speed, but the one that gives you the least time on said corner, thus allowing you to get on the acceleration a lot quicker. In most cases, this line can only be achieved by slowing down and then taking the corner, however some less sharp corners may not require this.
